This is a database for a Jewish Temple. It will handle the reservations and ticket printing for the "High Holy Days."
There are three "holy days" each of which have several different services at different times. For example, Erev Rosh Hashanah is on 09/12/07 and there is an Adult Service at 6:30pm and another at 8:30pm. Friday 09/21/09 is Kol Nidre, and there are services at 6:00. 7:45, 9:30, 6:15, and 8:00
Scenario:
The Temple receives a phonecall and Mr X. with Temple ID #12445 would like to have 4 tickets to Erev Rosh Hashanah at 8:30pm, 3 tickets to Kol Nidre at 8:00pm, 3 tickets to Yom Kippur at 9:15am and one "guest ticket" to Yom Kippur at 9:15am.
Next, the user would select from the Access Database, the temple member (Mr. X) and put the numbers in the corresponding holy days. A running count of tickets would be kept for each service.
The user would also be able to print the tickets from the software. The user will be able to print multiple tickets, or just a single ticket. The program will keep track of whose tickets have been printed.
Many search options will be available.
The application will be password protected.
They would like to keep track of not just how many tickets were reserved for each service, but also how many of those tickets are children, and whether or not they need to go to the daycare. They will be able to reserve "guest" tickets, and also there will be a button: "print guest ticket."
They will also need to be able to print address labels (or envelopes) when they print the tickets.
Each ticket will require space for a note.
I will need to be able to maintain this program, so good documentation and good English speaking skills are a must.
