We have an existing website that we would like to set up a protected directory structure for our Clients. I would like to set up the asp.net 2.0 membership login scripts for Registering, Logging in and Lost password control.
We use a win2003 IIS6 Server with Windows Authentication currently. We have one user account setup for all clients. The login goes from the info website [[login to view URL]][1] and goes to <[login to view URL]>. We obviously want each account to have its own login based on our contract number r12345; r12346 etc. then carry that contract number to our 2 data entry forms for their entry. the data forms are now stored in a Microsoft Access Database on the server.
Do we set up the users in the server, windows authentication? In Microsoft Access? or MSSQLDE; not currently using SQL Server.
We want bids on creating the Asp.net 2.0 interface intermixing with our existing web site and the 2 form pages carrying over the company name and Contract number. Create a form for registering with a valid contract number, email and basic company information. Set up a "I forgot my password" password recovery form.
