We need to develop a two-page asp (running under IIS) routine to upload a (eventually great) number of files/folders from a local pc to a server.
The first page must allow the local user to chose the destination path and the folders to upload, authorizing overwriting. Only destination paths available must be those folders who are found under a given fixed path, to be treated as a [login to view URL] parameter
Uploading/copying must be performed by an application domain user with proper writing grant on the destination path: no user/password must be asked on the client side.
A log (on db table or as a server file) must be produced in order to track who copied what, where and when.
The second page must tell the user the status of the copy (success/failure, return codes etc..).
Free 3rd party components can be used.
Uploading performance must be adequate (i.e. more or less the same as if the copy were made via explorer)
## Deliverables
1) ASP pages, developed to run on an IIS 5.0 WIN2000 server
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: for web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
