I have a website that let's you send longer messages on Twitter. Currently, it takes a text field input and breaks long messages into multiple shorter 140 character messages that can be sent to Twitter in one click (it connects to a user's account via Oauth). This is done client-side as you type using Javascript. I want to: 1) Add a couple of features on how to handle long messages. Besides the existing functionality to split long messages into multiple short ones, I want the option to tweet the full text as an image, and tweet part of the text with a link to view the full message. The user selects which method he/she prefers to use. 2) Create an API for third party applications to use the service (such as Twitter clients on iOS or Android, for example). This API should allow authenticating the third-party making an API call, keep track of how many API calls are made by each application and using which tweet method (split, link, image), optionally set a limit to the number of API calls any third-party can make. ** VERY IMPORTANT ** - Project will be awarded only after discussing all specifics with bidders to make sure everything is clear and you are 100% sure to have the skills required, so ask whatever comes to mind. - I need someone that can deliver reliable, clean code. The time it takes to complete is important but secondary to quality.

Dear JVilches, I have read your project requirement and here is my understanding to it 1. User creates an account at your website. 2. User connects his twitter account to website. 3. Use can tweet long text which is broken into multiple 140 character fragments by Javascript and posted on twitter. Here is the current flow of application I am assuming 1. User creates twitter account and website saves its oAuth token. 2. Ones user tweets something longer than 140 characters, js breaks into multiple parts and sends each to backend. Backend then uses oAuth token saved previously to post on user behalf to twitter. Features you are looking for 1. Add two new js functionality to either send message as an image else post entire text as one message on own website and tweet a part of it along with link to twitter. 2. Create web services(API) that can be consumed both by third party developers as well as your own mobile apps. Details which I feel is missing 1. Language in which backend server is written. This is important as API needs to be written there. I am comfortable in php and Ruby on Rails. 2. Image needs to be generated on client side or server side. In client side it could be done using canvas and server side has umpteen library available. Please let me know your thoughts on this and we can immediately start working on this project. Hi , The image of long tweet is don't take more than 1day but the api need more time 3 day . I will use gd lib for image and we can use any font for tweet . Thank you
