If you are a Windows Mobile programmer and you have an HTC* PocketPC with "Home" button, this is the job for you.
* Any of these devices: Diamond, Diamond2, TouchPro, TouchPro2, HD, HD2.
All of these devices have a "Home" hardware? button.
I need the source code (preferably in C#) to **disable** that hardware? button.
Requirements:
-? SetWindowsHookEx approach is discarded because it is not possible(already researched).
-? Must be at the lowest level possible and must remain disabled no matter which application is currently active.
- Disabling must be dynamic and during runtime, meaning that the code should be able to disable and then re-enable it programmatically at any time without the need of any special action nor soft reset.
- Solution must work on? all devices having that "Home" button(the ones listed above, I have a couple of them to test it).
- It doesn't matter if any? other hardware buttons need to be disabled too(as long as they can be re-enabled in the same way)
