This job involves ASP.Net 2.0, Sql Server 2005 and C# and a dashcommerce 3.2 shopping cart site. Modifications to the menu navigation on dashcommerce site need to be written. I have written my own linked list driven menu system consisting of both front-end browser functionality and back end admin capabilities. I want this fully functioning menu to be integrated into dashcommerce 3.2.
The work is to be delivered on a 3rd party hosted platform that is password protected running live on the internet. This website will eventually be put into production replacing the current production company website.
Dashcommerce uses Categories as a way of setting up navigation. I want this replaced by a design that uses a "Narrow By" function to narrow down the list of results selectable by the end user. I have designed and populated a prototype database design to support this and a working proof of concept has been implemented into dashcommerce. This job requires completing that work and getting it production ready.
The linked list menu will have to be implemented such that it connects the main horizontal menu choices for the site all the way down to the dashcommerce products on the original product table. This will ensure it will retain the out of the box functionality for shopping cart checkout, etc. We have a large variety of products to sell and this is the reason why this design is needed and that dashcommerce is not a good fit as it is.
I need to hire someone with expertise to help me finish this up, my skills are not up to the task - I have not coded for a while and don't have the time to learn on my own and have run out of time.

If you do not know dashcommerce that is fine since this job does not involve any coding having to do with ecommerce. It does require an expert level person in Asp.Net 2.0 and C#. That knowledge should allow you to figure out how dashcommerce works and how to modify it. I can support any database change requirements, or that can also be handled by you the developer. The database design is mostly in place and this job requires expertise on the front end coding side.

The specifications on this project as described here may make it difficult to estimate how much time it will take to complete this job.
As long as progress is being made on the project I am willing to work with the developer to increase the time allowed to finish the project and provide bonuses as incentive to keeping the relationship between myself and the winning bidder healthy. This is how we can come to mutual agreements on scope creep. You should be able to see from my rentacoder history that I have paid bonuses in the past in this way.
