The website is for students to post books they want to sell and make it viewable to other students who want to buy the book. The way they exchange the books for money is like craigslist where they on their own meet with the buyer/seller.
Students can search a book by school or by the basic search engine that lets you input the title, ISBN, author, subject, class, or professor.
The advanced search lets the student search through more than one of the categories. Again if the information doesn?€™t all match what we have, we suggest what they may be looking for.
Once the book is selected, the books that are available are listed below. They can be sorted by posted date (recent to older, older to recent, if clicked again), by new then used, or used then new, by price (acsending or desending, when clicked again), or by condition, (best condition, to worse, or worse to best condition).
If the student wants to post a book, it is required for them to input new/used, ISBN number, condition (if not new), and contact information that will be displayed, and email required for our contact with the seller (not in the visual). There will also be an extra piece where the student can rate how useful was the book.
They will be able to repost, edit, and delete their posts through their email that we will send them after the post. The email will give links to do all those functions that will take it to the page (all individual links to do each).
Allow an administrative area where gives us the ablity to add or remove postings, and to add or remove schools and professors.
