Create a Mobile Website

The Stepping Stones Dashboard is a mobile first platform that will act as a consolidated social app for information dissemination and sharing among the participants of a school ecosystem including students, parents, alumni, teachers and the school admin. It will be supported by a website based interface for easier administration as well as well as to provide a larger screen for some functions. The app is intended to be a hybrid one which installs on android, ios etc but opens the same pages in the background. The following are the intended features in the app: 1. Role based logins 2. A consolidated dashboard with about 4-8 widgets in the form of clickable tiles that would provide a window to the most recent update as well as indicate the number of unread messages for each type of communication. The dashboard will also have a space for running ads at the bottom which can also be used to communicate information about new features added in the app itself. 3. Each widget will be will have its own set of pages and the information on these pages will depend on the type of user and the user groups which a particular user is part of. The user groups will be predefined by the admin. The groups will be like class, section, subject, interest, activity, students, parents, alumni, event etc. 4. In the beginning the widgets will include simple function like a chat or message box (One to one), calender (One to many), a notice board (One to Many) and discussion forums (Many to many).
