Overview: We are a group looking to create an application that you can use to trade and/or barter goods with, that have set values between Countries (user vs. NPC Countries).
Project Detail:
Purpose: The process is basically a game to see how well you can trade your Country's items to ensure prosperity. There will be 30 Countries to choose from. The trade function will operate via two basic rules:
1. Goods traded between Countries must match each other in $ value within 5%
2. OR a Country taking on more in goods in $ value than they receive must have sufficient remaining operating GDP to purchase it outright from the seller.
Each Country will have:
*A minimum number of goods by category (Grain, Oil, Foodstuffs).
*A maximum number of goods by category (Grain, Oil, Foodstuffs).
*A minimum operating GDP.
*A maximum operating GDP.
*A predetermined amount of goods (choosing your starting Country will determine difficulty).
Results
The application will simply do a basic calculation to see if trades between counties are monetarily correct, or follow the sufficient remaining operating GDP rule. If it does, the screen will result in a "Trade Successful" screen. If not, it will result in a "Trade Failed" screen.
Items Supplied:
We have already gathered an excel sheet for use as the start to a database for the starting Countries and their goods, available operating GDP, etc. We also have a graphic designer who has designed wireframes for the application, and will be able to provide any further screens upon request from the developer.
Optional (Based on price)
1. The result will be shareable through social media.
2. Results will be shareable via link in-app.
3. Results will be shareable via link on web.
