We need someone with proper mechatronics manufacturing experience to design and hopefully build us a miniature milling 3-axis CNC using custom off-the-shelf standard parts, aiming for simplicity. The CNC will be used for etching and drilling PCBs in a compact space. Travel distance in the XY axes is 150x150mm (but can be up to 200x200mm). The Z axis travel can be between 100mm to 150mm and hold a spindle with a minimum speed of 15,000 rpm (20,000 to 30,000rpm ideal). Accuracy and repeatability of 0.1mm or better.
The CNC has to be designed with ball bearing or timing belt linear rails. First deliverable is the full BOM (rails, shafts, couplers, screws, steppers, controllers, power supply, etc) along with an adequate design or building instructions. Second deliverable, if possible, is the fully assembled and tested product sent to the US. (We are open to pay for the parts and/or shipping separately, or get an all-including price.)
We are trying to reach out to someone that has done this before or does this for a living. Many thanks.
