Scope:
Extract plugin files from a website in production enviroment who probably are not the same version as the original, so I need to find and copy those files.
I need an Applescript that can run as Application who:
Step 1) Ask for a REFERENCE folder (who contain the original files)
Step 2) Ask for a SOURCE folder (who contain files in production enviroment)
Step 3) Ask for a DESTINATION folder (the place where I would like to store the copy) If destination folder ins't empty, should ask to stop or to delete the entire content of the folder.
Step 4) Ask If I would like to COPY or MOVE files
If COPY
Then perform a scanning of structure directory and files in the REFERENCE folder, and copy from the same relative path files and folders from SOURCE folder to the DESTINATION folder.
If MOVE
Then perform a scanning of structure directory and files in the REFERENCE folder, and copy from the same relative path folders from SOURCE folder to the DESTINATION folder and move the files.
At the end:
If everything is done with no error, a "ding" is performed;
If some file does not exist in the SOURCE folder, the errors are written in a text files in the root of DESTINATION folder, with the relative.
YOU CAN USE THE PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE YOU PREFER BUT CONSIDER, THE SCRIPT SHOULD RUN WITHOUT INSTALLING/CONFIGURING ANYTHING ON THE MAC AND IT CAN BE MOVED AND PLACED EVERYWHERE IN THE COMPUTER HARD-DISK
PLEASE NOTE: don't send me automatic reply, if you don't demonstrate who you read and understood the project, I will reject your answer.
