I'm a programmer running a consulting business and I need a company logo. I'm looking for an image, either black and white or with only a few colors, that I can use on business cards, a web site, invoices and such. I would need this image in various different sizes and two different formats, eps and png. I would expect someone to give me several rough drafts to choose from and to work with me until I'm satisfied with the results. I know everyone fancies themselves as an artist, so I want a significant experts guarantee (50%). I won't hold you to a deadline if it doesn't work out, but I will hold you to producing a product that I can use. If you can't, don't bid. I'm only interested in original artwork. I don't want artwork that is copyrighted by someone else. I will want to see samples of work you have produced before I bid. A few notes (added these after bidding started) Color is better, but only a few colors, maybe four. The rough drafts would only be required after you have won the contract. The sight where the company is located is called [url removed, login to view], so I probably want something to do with dolphins in the logo.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
