ICT PROJECT PROPOSAL Main functionalities: It should work only on ADT “Virtual Device” and no physical or real mobile involved. 1. Organizer: Organizer basically like a “digital diary” which would help the student to keep the track of his daily activity, where he can put his lecture timing and would tell him where he has free slot of time. 2. Local Transport finder: This function would help the student to find transport to reach university. In this case one address is always fixed (university address) the student just have to enter his current address (or it picks up the address from the mobile position locator) to see which public transport is available to reach university; this could be solved through google. (google map provides the same facility, where I put my current address and my university address, it shows me the buses and routes are available to reach university) 3. Intercity Transport finder: The same as “2”, the only difference is now the student has to reach form some city to university’s city. In this function the local train website could be used where you just need to put city names and it tells you which trains are available.
