Create 4 CRUD Functions to wrap MetaModel.
We use the Apache MetaModel library to abstract our DB access. It works great for SQL DB (JDBC DBs), but less great for Cassandra, HBase and Other NoSQL DBs. We need to create an abstraction (a wrapper) on MetaModel that allows us to make some implementation specific choices based on the DB type. For example, we will need to do some custom work to get Cassandra to work efficiently. Additionally, we will want to use the Phoenix Driver for HBASE. But in the end all the data coming out of this wrapper has to take on the look of MetaModel (meaning it will use the MetaModel result set structure - no matter if it is pure Metamodel (for RDBMS using JDBC) or custom no-SQL implementations.
The Project is successful when CRUD functions are demonstrated for Postres, SQL Server, Oracle, Cassandra, and Hbase with performance information indicated. We are not planning to provide instances for testing. Cassandra and HBASE need to be populated and tested with at least 100K rows to validate Read/Select performance.
Please do not bid on this if 1) you've never worked with NoSQL DBs, 2) are not really good at Java Development, 3) haven't had any exposure to libraries like MetaModel or 4) are not able to complete the validation as indicated above.
