Carp Detection Using Java
Objective One: (Display Image)
Create Working GUI
Load Image of Carp into GUI
Use scroll bars to pan image
Objective Two:(Process values of pixels in image)
Once image is loaded, create array containing integer data for each pixel within the image
Create Color range finder, of which will check to see if hue value would be close enough to color on carp to identify it as such
Once array is created, iterate through each index to find values within color range, and if values within hue range is found, change adjacent values to another value, (Red, Yellow, Green....)
as an indicator color.
Depending on the concentration of the values in the correct hue range in a localized area, if one another is within a close proximity, (10-15 pixels on the image,) Set
a boolean value to true if so, then that would mean a carp is detected within the image, regardless of how many carp are actually in the picture
Objective Three: (Output)
Once image has been processed and has been confirmed as having carp in the image, print out "1" to a .txt file in the source folder to confirm its functionality
