Android GPS App(repost)

We need an Android application that will find the location of the user on a map, but presented in an interesting way. To create this app you will need to be able to: ? Programatically show and interact with a map, without the user being able to interact with the map. ? Draw transparent overlays over the map. These overlays will be animated. They will either be graphics that need to be dynamically cropped/resized/stretched, or shapes that are dynamically generated and move around the screen.
