I would like to create a soundboard app that I can publish to the Android Market. I can navigate my way around Eclipse and know how to do most of the graphics and menu design for this app. What I need help with is the code. I have a soundboard app that I am currently working on but my understanding of Java code is limited and I am at a point in development where I am stuck.
I have two goals for my app at this point that I would like to accomplish. The first goal is to have each button in my soundboard app have a context menu on longpress that the user can set the sound from that button as either a ringtone or notification. The second goal is to have a front screen widget that when pressed will randomly cycle through all of the sounds in the soundboard.
I would assume that this is a fairly simple project for someone who has java and android app development experience but I do not so I need help. Currently I am using MediaPlayer to play my sounds but I would like code solutions for using SoundPool as well.
This project would include providing the necessary code to set each sound as ringtones and notifications and the code for the widget. I hold all rights to this project but will provide the eclipse package with all necessary code that I have so far and you fill in the blanks. I would like two versions. One using MediaPlayer and one using SoundPool.
