Add dynamic updates to existing web site

We have an existing web site that we're happy with. We want to add dynamic updates for financial data that's generated in an excel spread sheet. The information will update very frequently (roughly each second) and we want it put to a table on the site. The relevant cell in Excel will stay the same for the relevant cell in the site table. The site was in html but was written using Dreamweaver. The total number of custom generated index numbers that we want to post on the site will change but we'd like to be add/subtract indexes.
