Im pondering on which is sensible to move ahead. Web or Desktop app.. Anyway let me share with you on the process steps. I be explaining this in general. Login Authentication -Creation of account to access the App -Limit of Access capability of accounts to the App -Modify/Delete Accounts -Audit Trail of any actions captured into DB Add Records - Form/Page to add records into the DB 1. Multiple Form/Pages to add records to a couple of Tables. -Data Validation of Forms - Audit Trail of action performed Modify Records - Form/Page to modify records into the DB 1. Multiple Form/Pages to modify records to a couple of Tables. -Data Validation of Forms - Audit Trail of action performed Remove Records - Form/Page to Remove records into the DB 1. Multiple Form/Pages to remove records to a couple of Tables. -Data Validation of Forms - Soft delete of Records(Move deleted records into a separate table) - Audit Trail of action performed Generate of Reports - Custom Query of DB to be displayed according based on criteria(fool proof/easy to use) - Feature of Exporting Data into Excel - Auto Export of DB Tables into Excel on Daily Basis Electronic Form(Still into consideration) - Generate a Sign off Form for Issue/Return of Asset based on Search in DB using UserID or Serial Number - Integrate Signature via Tablet/Stylus onto the Form. - Generated form to be converted to PDF upon signoff and e mail to specific group of people. -Generated form to be saved into DB and also on File Server E Mail system Automated - System is able to query records in DB and send automated e mail reminders to specific e mail address. Im looking for new upcoming programmers whom want to be give a chance to prove themselves of their talent. Budget is small and the time for the project im being flexible with the timings. Need good experience for Programming in ASP.NET, VB.NET, MS SQL database.
