Design a Training Manual/Learning Journal

I am the co-author of a best selling leadership book, which we are writing a companion volume for. This will be a learning journal/personal training manual. the second draft of the content is complete, the main focus of this project is the look and feel of the layout and formatting. The document as it is currently formatted is 79 pages and over 12,000 words. We are looking for an engaging and up-to-date layout and style. The finished product will be printed - and while we realize the limitations, we would prefer the final work be in Word, so that we can update and edit the content in the future. (This decision might be revisited if you can give us good reasons). Example/s of similar works is required. Further direction will be given to the successful selection.
