Book cover for Mexican book of folk and urban legends

We are a new independent publishing company in Mexico and we need a new color cover to launch our SECOND book! (Glad to say, the first one was created through freelancer.com!). The cover has to be 100% original work and the rights will be transferred to us. We have a budget of $60 for this assignment. More book covers will come. The book is about folk and urban legends of one particular city in Mexico. We want a very professional looking cover (not childish or comic book style). If you like Sandman art, you´re our guy. (Examples at [login to view URL] ) I will provide you a series of images (around 15) and you will draw them again with your style and create an original cover (you can see attached file). Not all images necessarily have to be used. You are the artist, you will use your creativity and imagination regarding perspective, general layout, etc. Please send samples of your work! You will submit sketch for approval and be open to make multiple revisions (no less than 5). Very important: We need a strong communication through all the project. Knowledge of Mexico is a plus, but not necessary. Please deliver the final illustration in one week. The quality of the final work must be similar in style and quality to the samples that you showed when you bid. Payment will be released when the cover is approved and you send the file.
