Hello,
Could you please provide me with a quote regarding the following:
I would need 3 things done:
A Text Logo: [url removed, login to view] . The .Hk par should be the Bank of China Tower. (See the name logo files). The text logo could be a rectangular version of the "Visual Logo" see more details below.
A Banner Logo: I will need to have a more simple skyline drawing. This is because it feels a bit to clutered (you have building on that skyline that are not recongizable as HK. So I would lighten up that drawing). Also as I will use the banner in some reports I dont have the copyrights on it. Note:We need to make the Hk stand out in the skyline. See the attachment.
A Visual logo. It should meet certain criteria such as:
1 - Reflect Modernity (Technology)
2 - Reflect Growth/Dynamism ( Opportunity)
3 - Reflect solidity/trust (Finance is all about trust)
4 - Reflect Asia
5 - Reflect value and tradition ( so that people trust it )
I think a format/shape that reflects this is the use of a "Imperial Seal" see attachement. ( [url removed, login to view] )
Obviously the line would have to be much more modern (almost as if done with a Laser (like HK Light show?)). The idea is great because those have been for millennial now, it shows continuity, tradition and safety. The same logic was used for the BeiJing Olympic logo ( [url removed, login to view] )
The ratio of the seal should be 1:1 as it fits most social media "profile pic" format (e.g Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn). Also I think the Seal could simply "re-organise the layout of the "Text logo"
I gave a shot at designing something (please see attachement). I broke down the design process into 4 steps: (writte on paper but you may not be able to read it.
3 Lasers going towards the sky. Showing Growth & Modernity
Smaller lasers connectiong the the 3 main pillar. This shows: Connectivity & Hub (for Apac) and a Bridge (the - of the H ;) )
Border encompassing the .Hk design appears to show that the website gives a Comprehensive environment providing Financial, Human, Legal, Media, Info support
The words "Fin" and "Tech"show up. Those could be replaced with Chinesse character or any other languages of the APAC region. This gives the sector of focus for the website (Maybe step 4 could be put first? would make more sense, but didnt feel like drawing again). Also note that the N and H of FinTech are "replicating" the design of the Hk.
