Design a 8' x 8' Banner and polish up logo

Looking for Freelancer to design an 8 foot x 8 foot banner for a trade show display that is targeting Military Veterans. EVERYTHING FOR OUR PROJECT NEEDS TO BE FOCUSED ON U.S. MILITARY VETERANS FOR ALL BRANCHES OF THE ARMED SERVICES - THIS IS NOT JUST ARMY OR NAVY OR MARINES OR AIRFORCE BUT ALL OF THE BRANCHES SO KEEP THAT IN MIND WITH YOUR DESIGN (For example, an all green camouflage design would only appeal to about 60% of our target market because the Navy and Air Force don't primarily use green as a color). You can look at the US Military websites [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] and use any artwork off of those sites but there has to be a balance representing all of the branches of the military service. You may also be inspired by viewing the Veterans Administration website at [login to view URL] The following are some specific details of the task: 1. Our logo needs to be massaged some. We need to add "Medical Consulting" probably in ALL CAPS to the bottom of the existing VetComp&[login to view URL] file. I have done this in Paint to the logo used in the VC&P Banner [login to view URL] file but it's crude. We like the idea of the American flag and overall concept of the design but I think it could be improved some and would ilke to see some of your thoughts on an update to the logo or simply cleaning up the existing one and adding the "medical consulting" to the logo. 2. We are printing a 8'x8' banner in 150dpi resolution and need to highlight that Vet Comp & Pen has a proven track record of doing the 7 things that are listed on the attached VC&P Banner [login to view URL] file. I'd like the background of this to have a military theme. I like the action that is found on the navy/marines/airforce/army websites and would suggest you consider a collage look using those images or some how combining the looks and themes. Again, since all US Government artwork is NOT COPYWRITED, you can use the images from those websites as you see fit. 3. As a follow-on project that will be bid separately, we will be updating our website [login to view URL] and I will be looking to you to be a contributor to the artwork design of that site if you do well on this project. THIS PROJECT MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN 4pm EST on Monday 9/15 to meet our printer deadlines. I will be available all weekend to help expedite approval and feedback etc.
