Civil Engineering Projects Construction/Designing Building/Commercial/Structural steel works Bill of Quantities Tender evaluation Site surveys & preparation of schedules Strategic Planning/Analysis Project management International exposure PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Civil Engineer • Overall Project management, controlling ,full staff, site,site logistics,office work,all manpower • Overall Project control and site and drawing coordination, issue of working drawings, control and coordinate all activities, lead the team of engineers. • Preparing cost estimate at various stages preliminary changes and final cost estimate • Preparing Bill of quantities as per the drawings in Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical spheres • Preparing Technical Inspection sheets • Space programmes and providing Technical Specifications for design & drawing • Preparing Work orders for all works as and when required. • Preparation of change/variation orders as per the changes in design drawings or ongoing construction • Rich exposure to Design & Drafting applying the latest techniques and software’s • Handle the Invoices raised by the Subcontractors, Checking and certifying them. • Inviting vendors to quote & Rate analysis of all contractor items • Rates negotiation and finalization with various vendors • Prepare work orders & Letter of Intent • Planning of bungalows residential, commercial,factories different sizes plots and drafting on AUTOCAD. • All drafting works residential commercial plots villas multistoried on AutoCAD. • Material management • Perform related tasks of Material assessment and Procurement, providing exact quantities. • Visiting sites for checking the materials • Site Assessment • Site supervision as and when required by client • Conducting Site surveys and preparing Inspection reports • Site surveys, site evaluation, as built drawings, site measurements. • Tender evaluation • Prepare condition of contract and technical specification based on bill of quantities for tender submission • Tender analysis of all the BOQ submitted by contractors and based on it final bid evaluation report • Handle related tasks pertaining to the tender documentation till the final handover to client • Make comparative statement for evaluation of vendors quotations • Study terms & conditions of various vendors • Pre Tender works • Complete pre tender Civil/MEP works, taking quotations from suppliers/vendors, preparing comparative analysis reports of all, finalizing rates of individual items, quoting the rates and submission of complete tender . • To submit the tender with the best possible item rates with mark up to get the job. • Reports & Time schedules • Planning time schedules for various project using the software MsProject • Preparing Material shop drawing submittal schedules • Preparing Technical Reports and daily, weekly & monthly progress reports • Preparing Preliminary survey & Contractors bid evaluation reports at various stages for client submission • Update progress report of various ongoing works and tender stages • Client Handling • Handling Technical clarifications and correspondence for client and contractors • Preparation of Invoices for making claims from the client • Preparing the technical documentation for agreements with Client and Subcontractors • Visit seminars for upgrading self knowledge.
