Create a travel reimbursement form

I work as a data analyst/software developer in the defense industry. I want to pick up extra cash while further developing my skills. My full-time job is to develop automated tools/forms/templates/processes/etc for the Business Management organization within the company I work for. Since January 2016, one of my projects has been to develop a comprehensive Travel Tool which receives user inputs to calculate a full breakdown of trip costs. To calculate these costs, I've had to develop rates using cost history. Unfortunately, I cannot sample most of my work as it is considered proprietary information, but I would be happy to share some of my own personal projects. I am highly capable with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. My day job consists of writing formulas and VBA code in Excel and Access in order to bring spreadsheets to life. I have the skills, the interest, and the ingenuity to develop a solution for your problem. I am brand new to this website, but I assure you that I have the necessary experience for this job.

I am located in Rockville, Maryland, close to the metro and thus within easy reach of Alexandria. I have experience working with US government projects, especially budgets and compliance requirements related to travel, food and lodging (e.g. per diem). Most importantly I am an expert with Excel and can pretty much make a template do what you want it to through the use of advanced formulas (nested IF statements, etc.), drop boxes, or -- if necessary -- VBA macros. I believe it would take me no more than 8 hours of work time to create the fully functional reimbursement form that you've described; I could have it to you by the end of the week, at the latest.
