Requirements: • Provides six months of trading data. The data must be stored in Excel. • The data should be meaningful but does not need to be extensive. The following sites may be useful for quickly generating data: o [login to view URL] o [login to view URL] • Construct an information system, using Excel, which meets the company’s requirement. • You must use pivot tables in Excel to visualise the data in the system. • You must supply at least four visualisations for your system. Report: Your short report must contain the following sections: 1. A short introduction to explain your chosen business 2. A short description of the purpose of each pivot table and visualisation 3. Screenshots of your visualisations 4. A paragraph on what do you understand by the term ‘quality information’. You need to refer to your system (max 300 words). 5. A paragraph on how the owners of the company will benefits from your system. Notes: • You must obtain agreement from your tutor regarding the appropriateness of your company before developing the system. • Make sure you document any assumptions you make. • You will fail the coursework if you do not demonstrate your system to your tutor.
