I have several decades of experience working with database driven applications as yours. This includes taking information from SQL tables and creating reports using tools such as Microsoft Access. For example, my latest project uses Access to pull data from several different MySQL tables to produce in minutes reports which would days to compile by hand. A recent marketing application used Microsoft SQL Server as the database and Access as the front end not just for reporting but for forms and data updates. While working for Chase Bank, I was nominated for their "Doing It Right The First Time" award for my work on an application that pulled in data from seventy different sources in SQL tables on an I-Series to produce both monthly production reports and adhoc reports for upper management. That required me to locate the right sources for the report, retrieve the necessary data and to put the data into a report that would meet their business needs. For similar work I received the "President's Award" from Dun & Bradstreet. As I am semi-retired, I have both the time and experience to be available for you to get the job done. I really enjoy report writing and in developing interfaces to SQL databases.
Besides really believing that my job is not done until you are happy with the results, you should know some other things about me. I do not retain any rights to the code I develop to generate your reports. You are free to do with it as you like after you've accepted my work and made payment. This means that there are no ongoing costs such as license fees when you work with me. I also do my work on a non-disclosure basis to protect the privacy of your company. And so, your reports will never show up in a portfolio for me. I use a tool named Glance which will either allow you to view the work as I'm developing it on my PC or allow me to directly do the work on your PC. It's up to you where I do the initial development work. I can also be reached in a number of different ways in addition to the message system on Freelancer. I have a phone line which is dedicated only to project work with clients like yourself. In addition, I use Skype for video conferences if you want to do that. Please feel to contact me using Freelancer's message system if you have any questions for me.
