Hi, I have been working as Sr. pricing analyst since last 4+ years. During this stint, I have worked on projects involving price models, creating competitive information databases etc. In my projects, I work extensively on excel (with 100K rows of data from production sites). For your project, I expect solution to be on following lines: 1) Multiple interfaces (User form): This will be designed on excel and will collect user inputs, which will then be stored in ACCESS DB. This will be connected to various data sources (which could be excel files/access). We will need 3 interfaces as mentioned in your project. 2) Access operations: Need to store back-up data in access and control database operations, (like automated picking of raw data from sources, formatting it to be stored in predefined format). Buttons should be provided in User form sheet to control operations like this. 3) Processing/Calculation logic: Logic will be needed to perform data processing/calculations over formatted data. In my estimation, whole process may take 10-15 days for completion. This estimation will also depend (and may vary) on how prepared you are with project draft and related details.
