Aerospace Engineering Apps

We are a major Aerospace Co. and I we will be building a new Engineering Facility for Designing and Producing Mechanical Valves (check valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves, etc) across the industry. Although we already have many company standards and "engineering calculators", they are desktop oriented and the Gui's just plain suck. I would like to have an IOS based "Engineering Standards" [ipad/iphone] app for our new division that contains standards broken into major categories [like "Standard Work" (processes), "Mechanical Engineering Calculators" (like plate/beam equations, spring design, bolt torque/preload relationships, Fatigue Analysis (minors-summation), Seal Design (orings), Pressure Drop Calculators, etc. Another interesting app might be a "social engineering" app designed for business environments. For example, a facebook-like app designed to help co-workeres communicate with other peers and management (identifying questions, issues, design alerts, innovative ideas, etc). The GUI must be very good and in the case of Engineering Calculators provide intuitive inputs, transparency of equations used, and interactive results (outputs) for easy iterations of design solutions. ## Deliverables
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
## Platform
IOS (iphone/ipad) <=priority + OSX or Windows or both (IOS versions must have standard outputs back to desktop apps like Word, PP, Excel, etc, mostly for reporting and presentations purposes. This project is somewhat flexible in that I want to take leverage mobule computing with next-gen (touchscreen and dedicated good GUI apps) into the business environment. i.e, a mobile business culture with cloud computing if it makes sense.
