We want to know whether the contents of an iframe are appearing on users' screens. Our page is displayed via an iframe on a third party site. We need to do this using code in our own page. Ideally each time the page loads, in an area which is visible to the user, this will increment a counter for today in our MySQL database. We already have a bit of php in the page that counts each time the page is loaded. We want to keep counting that too, and what we are looking for here is separate code that only increments the counter (ie a separate counter) if the iframe contents are actually visible, eg it would not count if the iframe was at the bottom of the page (off the screen) and the user did not scroll down to it.
