Data Entry: 2,000 Canadian websites. Find Company Contact details.

I have a list of 2,000 mostly Canadian websites. Most of these are Canadian companies. The job is to find the contact pages on these websites and select the company name, address, city, state/province, postal code, and phone number and insert that data into our custom web application. The web app runs on Firefox browser with the GreaseMonkey extension. This software is required. Quality is very important. Speed is also important, but accuracy comes first. If you focus on this job, I estimate that you can do 500 records a day. I can personally do about 150 per hour in English for North American websites, US/Canada sites probably load faster in North America than in other parts of the world, and loading is often the bottleneck. A fast Internet connection will make this project go much faster than a slow connection. Your first 10 sites will go slow as you get used to the system. I estimate that you will do about 1 site per minute after an hour and that you can get to 2 sites per minute after about 100 records. Like many data entry projects, it is challenging to stay focused for a long period of time on this task.
