Book keeping and Assisting with Payroll

We are looking for a full or part time book keeper to work in our busy Dental Office
Duties: Update bank ledger in quick books, payroll, payroll taxes, pay bills and enter in quick books, reconcile bank statements, provide monthly quickbook reports, provide updated quickbooks to accountant and owner, assist in communicating with accountant and preparing year end taxes, research strategies to optimize tax deductions, keep up with new changes in corporate tax law. Assist with insurance billing and accounts receivables in the office.
Job requirements: Applicant must be proficient in quickbooks and have experience in book keeping. Please provide reference of past experience. Must be very organized and detail oriented. Must be able to communicate well with the owner and work well with other staff. A lot of this job is providing owner with insight into where the accounts and expenses are at all times. You need to be able to communicate this clearly. We would consider a young CPA with little experience if they were the right fit. Experience with insurance billing is not necessary we will train for this if you are proficient in book keeping. We do not expect the book keeping to be a full time job. Assisting with insurance and accounts receivables will expand this position to full time.
