Barcelona expert needed for completing a database

Tasks: Spread your Barcelona knowledge and contribute to our company and our service: delivering Personal City Plans for travellers. How? Complete a high quality database with a correct division of all sorts of activities to do in Barcelona in English, consisting of faultless content. Instructions have been made for this. The set up consists of 2 different phases with concerning main tasks: Phase 1 Prepare the existing Excel sheet for importing in our database(CMS) (approx. 40 hours): - Check certain details of the approx. 400 activities which are already inserted in the Excel list. - Determine which other approx. 50 (‘off the beaten path’) activities must be supplemented. - Collect the correct sources (websites) for information/ content about these 50 activities. - Insert several details about these 50 activities (such as title/ street/ directions/ neighbourhood) and link them to the relevant keywords. - You are responsable for the right proportion of all activities not only relatively to each other, but also in relation to the neighbourhoods (this will be done with help of developed formulas in Google Drive/ Excel sheets) Phase 2 Data entry by others in the CMS (est. time is approx. 40 hours). - Check and give feedback on the data entry work of the ones who filled in the rest of the content (description, image, calender, costs, e.g.) in the CMS. You might need to add or adjust elements yourself in the CMS. (- Tba: Contact companies or making photo’s yourself when legal images can not be found on the internet to use) Requirements besides the skills: - You live in Barcelona. - You are precise, have patience and do not mind to do routinely tasks. - You have written communication skills in English. Contact will be by regular Skype meetings. Estimated time is about 80 hours in total. You can divide your work hours how you prefer in upcoming months, only in phase 2 we have to tune in the operations with those of the data entry. Preferably we can cooperate in the future too, as the database must being maintained by 'a City Manager' for approx. 30 hours per month when we have our first clients in Barcelona and preferably that would be you!
