In order to improve search engine ranking on the Owen Shipp website, I would like to tweak the way [login to view URL] works. At present, I believe Google is lowering its rank as it sees the different property types as too similar. I would like to change <Title> and the URL of the pages to rectify this.
1. Page Titles
The page title needs to reflect the properties listed on the page. This works fine when a full listing is shown, as it is as follows:
To let or buy - listings of commercial property in Guildford, Woking, Godalming, West Surrey – Owen Shipp commercial estate agents and chartered surveyors
But, it displays the same when a filter is applied to the list, for example, when 'offices' is clicked? So, for offices it would be ideal if it was as follows:
Offices To let or to buy - listings of commercial property in Guildford, Cranleigh, Godalming, West Surrey – Owen Shipp commercial estate agents and chartered surveyors
Or, for shops:
Shops To let or to buy - listings of commercial property in Guildford, Cranleigh, Godalming, West Surrey – Owen Shipp commercial estate agents and chartered surveyors
Would it be possible to amend the page title depending on which filter is attached? Essentially, we just need to pass the value for property type into the page title.
2. URL
It would also be ideal to have the property type in the URL too, rather than a number. So ideally, for offices, as follows:
