We need a Flash9 AS3 mapping application for a travel site to be created. This is an upgrade to our Flash7 Flash mapping application.
The flash mapping application has two parts:
1. TripCreator - An administration sytem whereby the user can create their own travel maps by dropping points on the map.
2. TripViewer - A Flash based slide show of the travel map that the user created in the TripCreator.
Requirements:
Use [url removed, login to view] open source mapping API and add on the following features:
1. Users of the mapping application is able to drop way points on the map and create a path of their travel.
2. To each point on the map, the user can also add photos, video, music and a diary.
3. Users can also create content in multiple languages. For example, if a user write a diary entry for a certain date of their trip, they can write an entry in english and another in french.
4. The Flash mapping application needs to communicate with a backend database via flash remoting (most CFC's are already written), will have to create a few more but not much.
5. Able to use any map sources (yahoo,google,microsoft,zoomify)
