Amazon Listing Scraper

I am looking for a freelancer to help me with my project. The skills required are Web Scraping in Python and familiarity with Amazon.ca. I am looking for fixed price offers for this phase of the project. It is likely that I will require changes to the project as it evolves. I expect that the price paid further down the line will be reasonably similar to what you offer today. I have technical background myself and used to do these kinds of jobs myself so you can expect me to understand what is technically difficult and what is not. The workflow of the application will be as follows: 1. Go to [login to view URL] website 2. Search for a keyword read from a list that would be stored persistently in a database (possibly SQLite) 3. Read individual product listing results on the page provided, and possibly the next few pages (configurable with a parameter) 4. Collect the links from step three and navigate to each individual page 5. Parse certain details from each product listing page (suggest using XPath or CSS selectors or anything better you know of). This part will be the trickiest as different pages may have details in slightly different formats from page to page and the program should be robust enough to be able to handle these multiple formats. I would expect you to test the program with different type of pages. 6. Store these details in a SQLLite database with a timestamp in a format that is query-able (i.e. not just a text dump of the fields, use integers and numeric date format that can be queried e.g. 20170409 to represent 9 Apr 2017. I have ideas for more functions within this project that would require similar scraping tasks through browser automation and based on the experience of the project I will likely hire you again for those enhancements. Please provide brief description of alternative / envisioned solutions or technologies you would use for this project. Look forward to working with you.
