Front-End for CartLess
BACKGROUND:
What is CartLess?
CartLess is a website and software system that provides an online grocery shopping experience. CartLess takes your grocery store online, allowing current customers and potential consumers to access any item in your store, ordering their groceries and picking them up at their convenience.
The CartLess website is a platform that connects grocers to consumers within their community. Bringing consumers to one site opens your doors to hundreds of potential consumers.
THE SOFTWARE:
CartLess is based in a API Server that provides mechanism to obtain and promote information from and for the system.
The server’s functionality is based on the following:
1. There is a general catalog of items – The ID from these articles represents the UPC or bar code for each product. The catalog includes all the products’ information such as: pictures, description, characteristics, tags, categories, etc.
2. There is a catalog of stores, accessible directly or indirectly
3. A catalog of users that provides the information from the users registered in the system (active, inactive, etc…) Internally the server validates the access from the registered users.
4. There is a history from all the actions of each customer – product search, purchases, etc. This history / information will be used to obtain statistics that will help us improve the service / system.
5. Provides a form to register the purchases of the items from one customer to one store.
6. Different ways to obtain the products ordered: by relevance, price, etc. Internally the API server utilizes Full-Text Search.
7. There is a catalog for Recipes that contains (among other things) a list of the items needed for that recipe.
8. Purchasing lists saved by the client, or propose a list according to previous purchases.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
Basically the system contains an app developed by AngularJS, that has the objective of acquiring the API server from CartLess (REST server), giving the users a friendly and dynamic interface that will allow (among other things) search items, compare prices between stores and make purchases.

• Search and Product Exploration
• List of items to be purchased (one way to save lists or generate one according to previous purchases)
• Recipe Module (to share a recipe, upload the items to the shopping cart)
• Price comparison between products and stores
• Shopping Cart module (add items to the shopping cart and finish the purchase)
• Payments module
