C# ASP.Net MVC / Styling - Display Code Blocks

Hi,

This is a simple task for anyone that has done this before.

I am looking to include code blocks in a web-page that auto-format based on the language used.

I am interested in two particular styles of markup possibilities:-

1) Using Markdown that is used on Stack Overflow. This seems to work well for code blocks and I'd be interested if someone knows how to do this one.

2) Using some other kind of markup technology. For example on [url removed, login to view],_iOS/hello,iOS_quickstart/ , there is a code block half way down, that is auto-formatted.

Let me know your thoughts, and how quickly you can do this type of project and whether you have done this before?
