Project Name: Local File System Monitoring Project Description: This project should be easy for people who implemented similar projects. The programming language should be C++ and the project should be developed using Visual Studio 2008. The application is a sample that should be a console application that starts a new thread that will perform the local file system monitoring. Each time a file is copied / modified / created / deleted / printed / uploaded / attached to an email or sent to removable storage / Bluetooth a message will be displayed on the command line app – telling the time – name of the file – name of the app – operation will be displayed. Example: “01.01.2017 12:12:12” “c:\desktop\[login to view URL]” “windows explorer” “deleted” “01.01.2017 12:12:12” “c:\desktop\[login to view URL]” “windows explorer” “copy” “x:\file\[login to view URL]” “removable storage” If there are any other relevant information that can be displayed on this line – please feel free to do it, like the name of the Bluetooth device that the file was sent to, or the name of the removable device and so on. The sample app should be able to identify the temporary files created by different apps (browsers, antiviruses and so on) and should have an option to ignore them. The sample should run on Windows 7 and newer Windows versions. So there is no need to support XP or Vista.
