Hi,
I'm looking for someone to help develop a CAN Bus Driver for a STM32F407VGT MCU.
I have the driver already written, but am running into Receiving issues.
In short, A request is made on the network, a module responds with about 145 messages sent in unison. The receiving node(The one i'm working on) only captures about 30% of the traffic sent. I have tried both looping on the CAN receive, and interrupts. Neither caputre all the traffic. (Typically captures first 2 frames then skips like 30 messages and captures a few more). I'm assuming FIFO overrun as I may not be getting the messages out quick enough.
I am a hobbyist, and this project is non-commercial. I will pay someone a flat rate to build a driver that works better or per hour if you are willing to tutor. (If you are willing to tutor I will pay higher fee)
Please message me for more details! I also have another project that need undertaking (ILI9340 SPI driver)
Thanks.
I have experience with STM32F100 (STM32 Discovery board based on Cortex M3). In the past I have created from scratch UART and I2C protocols (those were implemented in software not hardware). I will implement the CAN protocol then I will teach you how it works.
Hello,
I have a good experience in embedded hardware/software product design involving communication protocols. Though I have not used CAN protocol, I feel this may not be a CAN specific issue. I have a total of 16years industry experience.
Please let me know how we can work together..
Thank you
Vinod
