Hi. I would like to work on this project it sounds interesting. So if I understood correctly you would like to select 100 24bit color bitmaps, sort them based on their name, and than merge them into one large 16bit color bitmap. Is this is correct? I worked on couple projects that involved bitmap manipulation, and as far as I see this shouldn be much of a problem. My estimation is that I could finish this over the weekend. With day or two of possible improvements/bug fixes after you examine the finished product. If you have any questions please let me know. I hope you award me this project (even more so if there will be fallowup projects) kind regards. btw. I would do this in C#, WPF if that is ok. But WinForms is fine by me also.

Good day, i reviewed your requirements and i believe i understand them, except maybe one thing: When the data is taken from the Bitmap files, (100 files of 160x128 resolutions), as far as i understand it you want the data be stored in one simple file. This would lead to a file sized 4000kb exactly, containg the byte values for 16bit RGB in a sequence. Is this correct? The final product would then consist of a simple Windows Form written in C# , that would offer the ability to select Bitmap files. When exactly 100 Bitmap files are selected, the button (called for example 'Go') would be enabled and a file would be saved at user selected location containing the requested data. I understand that you need following things in this project 1) C# project 2) a button to load as much as 100 bmp files. then may be show these names in edit box. HERE IS A QUESTION Would it always be 24 bits or you can have 16 bit images also? 3) sorting of those selected files on name basis 4) output a single image stacked. HERE IS A QUESTION by stacking you meant horizontal stacking?? HERE IS A QUESTION you also mentioned that there should be no offset or spacing but do you want to include padding or exclude that also?
