C program for ECG signal R peak detection

What is your inpur data - binary data file, text, or image ? 1st two cases may be done cheaper and in a shorter time, image processing needs a bit more efforts. Hi, The project you have at hand interests me. I am an experienced software engineer previously working with Samsung RnD division. I am pretty comfortable in C programming and I have implemented quite a few discrete filters for signal processing in C for performance. The rough plan that I have in mind is as follows: 1. High pass filter to remove the low frequency noise, like physiological changes 2. Windowed maxima filter to find out the peaks. 3. Remove false peaks using a threshold value. If you have any specific algorithm or a paper, that you want implemented, then let me know. If I am awarded this project, I intend to finish it in five days. Hi, can you supply multiple data files and indicate for each of them, where the peak should be ? It will probably be the best way of explaining how you define a peak, and if there are any 'false' peaks to avoid. If the definitions are simple, then a simpler method will also suffice, and consequently, cost less to make. EDIT: also, please indicate if this is to implement some algorithm you already developed in matlab / R / GAMS or something silmilar, or is it a research request ? Regards, Mb
