Convert PHP daemon to C++

This task involves porting a working daemon written in PHP to C++. The aim is to dramatically improve performance. The PHP is all OO code so most apescts of the port should be straightforward. However any bidder must show good understanding of memory management and performance in C++ as well as the use of internal caching (already implemeneted in PHP) to reduce database load.

The current system comprises approximately 25 classes and 10,000 lines of code (including blanks). The database is MySQL and the system runs on a FreeBSD server. The daemon must run under daemontools. The successful bidder will be required to sign a NDA.

## Deliverables

The result must run exactly the same as the existing PHP daemon. This may require implementing some PHP functions in C++ (e.g. pack/unpack).
