I am curious as to how you want the conversion to occur. Are we basing the formula off of real time data or a generic average price formula. For an example of a generic formula 1 CAD = 1.05 USD. If we are using a generic formula I can create this script very fast. If the latter the script will need an internet connection to scrap data to complete the conversion. Thank you for your time. A clarification if you don't mind: How do you want the user to interface with the program (i.e., GUI, command-based menu, etc.)? If there is no GUI, then this project is well within my current Python skill. Otherwise, I would have no problem learning to code the GUI (I've done several in Java and Visual Basic), but it may take a little more time. Thanks!
