I also work part time as a freelance developer. Apart from that, i also have my own project going on which is called artistsnearby.com. it is a website which aims to create a platform for artists to connect ,collaborate showcase their work and find other artists in the location as well. I would love to show you some of my designs if u feel like. I usually follow bootstrap design pattern which is the currently flowing trend. This would guarantee that your website would look great in a web browser as well as a mobile scaling itself according to the screen size. I usually charge 100-120$ for a static website i.e. a website which does not require much database management and has no or very less dynamic content. for dynamic websites the prices go more based on the functionalities you would be requiring in your website.
