We're a young media startup that engages people with incredibly shareable content and creates viral trends that take over social feeds of people across the globe. We're seeking an Internet junkie with strong writing skills to help us build upon a fast growing audience of millions. We need someone to work with us around 10-15 hours a week in an open-ended assignment, meaning we'd like this to last for several months. What you'll be doing: - Brainstorm ideas for irresistible content that has the potential to go viral - Write engaging posts that people want to share - Scour the Internet for ideas and be on top of what's trending online Requirements: - Strong writing skills. You can work quickly and write high quality content, fast - An Internet junkie with a knack for finding viral content and a love for social media. You understand what people love on the Internet and why they share. Reddit users get bonus points! - Overall eagerness and enthusiasm, and a positive attitude - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - A self-starter who is able to manage tasks independently - Basic to intermediate Photoshop skills (resizing and enhancing photos) - Knowledge of SEO is helpful - Experience working with WordPress is a bonus Hours are very flexible, and we're looking to for someone who can start as soon as possible.
