I have a lot of experience translating objective c to java to run on android devices. I've been programming for both since the respective sdks were first released. The first iOS app I developed, the highly successful iBeer, was released the day the app store first opened. My most recent project was the Android conversion of the iOS communications app Partyline, which uses TCP and UDP communication encrypted with AES to match random users together for a voice chat, compressed with Opus, and to allow picture sharing. For that project I was the sole programmer. Looking forward to hearing more about your ride sharing project.
