The web site to be provided by U-Works will be equipped with an easy-to-use, robust content management system, or CMS. The CMS will allow for non-technical staff members to add, edit or delete HTML content areas of the web site based on
the individual user's role-based permissions in the system. The CMS is also enabled
with an approval-routing feature for maximum security and content verification.
You will have complete control over the direction of the content of the web
site and will no longer be dependent upon a web vendor to make updates
quickly.
With minimal training (approximately 2 hours), your staff will be able to change text
and image elements of the pages on the web site, and add new pages using a simple
web-based browser. Staff members with experience using MS Word and surfing
the web will find using the CMS especially convenient for keeping the web site
updated and current.
U-Works anticipates a web site with content sections and pages meeting your multiple language requirement. The final site map will be determined at the beginning of the project by working with you to organize any existing (if any) and newly planned content areas.
The Database has be planned out as mentioned on your staffs behalf.
The post new ideas portal with be crafted with the a community structure, meaning there can be different levels of communication along with the ability to jointly collaborate ideas, staff members may add each idea of the through the CMS and make it available to public web site visitors (if necessary).
The web site provided will be equipped with Extranet / Intranet feature. You may establish special pages and sections of online content for employees. The Extranet / Intranet sections will only be available to web visitors with an approved user name and password, created by staff members.
Please note that the administration functionality of the Extranet Area is a component of the CMS.
U-Works will also equip the website with online, real-time website traffic statistics to measure which pages and sections get the most usage. The statistics will also include references to which search engines or other (linked) websites are driving traffic to the website.
Please note that the Web Site Traffic Statistics functionality is included as part of U-Works CMS functionality and is included.
U-Works will equip staff members with online translation software. members may translate textual content from English into multiple languages. may then cut and paste content into the CMS for public web site viewing.
Based on design we suggest jquery instead of flash for a responsive and mobile design, As in flash this will help visitors to understand the services and/or it may help to further promote the personality and image of the company.
Both the image acquisition and the Jquery design will be thoroughly discussed during the design portion of further talks.
