We are "Top Notch Tree Service" a small company driven by a professional climber with over 20 years experience. Looking for a simple design that works in black & white, incorporates a tree trunk with or without leaves/foliage, and definitely a NOTCH. (You can google search open-faced, humboldt, classic if you are unsure of what this looks like.) This logo must have a classic tree felling notch as a major constituent of this logo. Maybe in the lettering or maybe in a trunk. It must look amazing on a black background, such as a black t-shirt and a black f-350 dually. It should be strong, bold, simple and too the point. neon green could also work well. Orange could work well. A chainsaw chain could work well. This logo will appear on business cards, t-shirts, baseball caps, magnets, towels and automobiles. I can show a company logo whose style and concept we like. If you can design the logo we are looking for, you may be the person we are looking for to design our web site too.

contest is now guaranteed. some of our favorite designs include logos within borders and notch formations out of lettering, trees and borders. we like the inclusions with climbers and rope, but would still like to see it paired with a notch that works somewhere in the design. thank you all.

I would like to say thank you to everyone for contributing work to this logo contest. I am still searching for that right fit that will uniquely express and identify our company. Some notes to incorporate: logo may be with or without a tree. Since we work on a variety of trees native to the Florida region, a grouping of varies conifers and deciduous variety is an option. No tree is also an option since our company name is based on a cut inserted into the trunk (similar to a right angle), which directs a tree to fall down in a desired location. This notch is very important to the design, and is where I am mainly looking for unique ways to incorporate this element. Perhaps the background, perhaps a notch into the lettering or all of the lettering. Perhaps integrated into the border. Please keep your wonderful ideas and designs coming. Thank you for continuing to take your time to help us find our unique logo.
