A quick clarification: This is a software engineering firm. Several designs are basing the design on electrical engineering

Design a modern logo with high resolution for Letter Head, website and other media. Already have a sample log but I need a more modern, flatter logo.

The current design attached. I need less color, more modern.

Logo Ideas: Keep it flat

Look at the Longford management logo. It is simple but very nice and presentable. Too much color is bad also, primary and secondary colors should not be used. It should be unique. Even if a primary color, there should be some changes in the palette to make it look unique.

My favorite logos are the once that includes a simplistic symbol as well as a word mark. The symbol and the wordmark should be able to stand alone by themselves and they should also be able to stand apart to represent an organization.
